“OUT OF OUR TREE” FESTIVAL ΣΤΗ ΜΑΥΡΗ ΤΡΥΠΑ

“OUT OF OUR TREE” Festival φιλοξενεί το Σάββατο 28 Νοεμβρίου 2015 στη Μαύρη Τρύπα με τους, The Frantic Five, The Mongrelettes, τους Influenza,  τον Dj ANIMAL (Minor Mine).
Farfisa στα κόκκινα, γκαράζ με τέρμα τα γκάζια και φουλ ροκ εντ ρολ στο “OUT OF OUR TREE” festival.
Με τους Frantic Five στην τσίτα να τα σπάνε παρέα με τον Jens Lindberg, τις μοναδικές Mongrelettes στην καλύτερή τους φάση να παρουσιάζουν τον ολοκαίνουριό τους δίσκο και τους Influenza να εξαπολύουν ροκ εντ ρολ δυναμίτες.
Ενδιάμεσα από τα live αλλά και στη συνέχεια ο Dj Animal θα μας ψεκάσει τ’αυτιά με τόνους garage, rnb και soul.

The Frantic Five were formed in June of 1994 (Thessaloniki-Greece) and they have never denied their obsession with the sound of the mid-sixties garage punk, rnb and euro beat. The spine of their sound consists of an explosive mixture of farfisa and fuzz and they manage to move smoothly between garage punk, groovy beat and melodic moody tunes.
The band has a bunch of releases in various labels across the globe (Greece, Australia, Italy, UK,Germany) and has participated in numerous compilations.
The Frantic Five have been on stage countless times and they also have been touring outside the borders of Greece in countries such as Germany, Italy,UK and Turkey since 2003.
The Frantics where honored to open for bands such as the Sonics (2009), the Fuzztones (2001,2003,2014) and The Mysterians (1999), Sky Saxon and The Seeds (2006), Fleshtones (2006), Sick Rose (2006) and others and they have also shared the stage with all the Greek rock n roll bands.
JENS LINDBERG

Ο Jens Lindberg προέρχεται από τη μεγάλη σουηδική γκαράζ σκηνή των 80s που έβγαλε μπάντες σα τους Nomads και τους Creeps.
Συμμετείχε στους φοβερούς Crimson Shadows καθώς και σε πολλά άλλα ιστορικά συγκροτήματα της σουηδικής σκηνής και αυτή την περίοδο παίζει με τους Maharajas.
Το 1995 κατά τη διάρκεια της επισκεψής του στη Θεσσαλονίκη ηχογράφησε κάποια τραγούδια με τους Frantic Five και ένα από αυτά (Bye Bye Baby) υπάρχει στο 7” EP των Frantics “A Night Out With The Frantic Five” (Belle Vue).

THE MONGRELETTES are a female(majority) garage band (4 gals+1 guy) based in Athens, GR.
Their first meetings as a band took place in October 09. Their sound is mostly influenced by the mid 60s american and english scenes, as well as other strong sources such as greek and french 60s pop stuff and a variety of other revivals of the garage sound from the 80s until today..
In January 2010 they played their first gig, supporting garage/psych band The Magnificent Brotherhood(de). Since then, they have also opened for garage power-poppers The Stems(aus), the explosive italians Movie Star Junkies(IT), Death by Ounga Bunga(NO), The Launderettes(NO), Mobsmen(NO), as well as the experimental projects Ashtray Navigations(UK) and Earzumba(ES-DE) and pop-garage band The Jumpin’Quails(IT), while they have also shared the stage with the veteran -bad ass- greek garage bands The Frantic V, The Snails, The Callas, The Dive, but also with The Social End Products, The Dark Rags and This is Nowhere, newly formed greek bands of the same period. They have supported, among other, the Fuzztones and the Fall.
They also participated in a great documentary about the greek garage scene(1990-2010), from the production group PEPPER, and they have appeared in a short scene in “Runaway Day” film by Dimitris Bavelas, in 2013

Οι Influenza δημιουργήθηκαν το 2009 στην Θεσσαλονίκη.
Η μουσική της μπάντας κινείται στο χώρο του rock ‘n’ roll και του rockabilly με επιρροές από την blues και την swing.
Από τότε έχουν εμφανιστεί σε διάφορες σκηνές της Θεσσαλονίκης (Μονή Λαζαριστών, Fix in Art, Eightball, Silver Dollar, Collectiva Alternativa, Μαύρη Τρύπα), σε συναυλίες οικονομικής ενίσχυσης και αλληλεγγύης στα πανεπιστήμια, αλλά και εκτός πόλης, σε Δράμα και Έδεσσα.
Επίσης, συμμετείχαν στο φεστιβάλ “Αναιρέσεις” και στο “Φεστιβαλ Αυτοδιαχείρησης” τον Ιούνιο του 2013.
Το Μάρτιο του 2013 ηχογράφησαν το πρώτο τους ντέμο με τίτλο “Influenzial” το οποίο περιλαμβάνει 6 δικές τους συνθέσεις.
